FENRIR is an autobiographical short story comic created for the third issue of Cauldron Books and Comics' anthology project titled DISCOVERY.  In this piece, Maya covers difficult aspects of her childhood, mainly surrounding her experience with derealization and depersonalization. The story features herself as a split entity, and both the struggles and gifts that come with leaving an abusive situation to find yourself... safe, for the first time.
